LeT chief Hafiz Saeed resurfaces with fresh anti-India plans
In a major revelation, a new video allegedly linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) has surfaced online, claiming that most-wanted terrorist Hafiz Saeed is involved in a new plan to launch coordinated attacks on India.
According to intelligence sources, the video—reportedly circulated on several encrypted channels—shows LeT operatives discussing fresh infiltration routes and possible sleeper cell activation along India’s western border. The clip also praises Hafiz Saeed’s “mission” and calls for “revenge,” raising concerns of renewed terror activities under his direction.
Officials said the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Military Intelligence (MI) are jointly analyzing the footage to verify its authenticity and origin. Preliminary reports suggest that the propaganda might have been filmed in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) or near the Punjab border region.
Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, has been under international sanctions and a UN-listed terrorist for over a decade. Despite being officially “under detention” in Pakistan, intelligence reports have repeatedly indicated that his terror network continues to operate freely under different fronts.
Security forces in Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, and Gujarat have been put on high alert, with cross-border surveillance tightened. Sources also claim that Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI could be indirectly backing the new campaign to destabilize India ahead of key political developments.
Authorities have urged citizens to remain cautious and report any suspicious activities. Meanwhile, the Indian government is expected to raise this issue diplomatically through international channels once the video’s verification is complete.
